Walk assistance and hill start assist

Hold down the minus button and start walking: Thanks to walk assistance, you can push your eBike more easily, even on the steepest of trails. With hill start assist, you can set off more easily – without unintentionally rolling backwards.

This has enabled us to almost halve the CO₂ emissions in the production of the housing. Savings compared to the use of conventional aluminium. These savings are partially attributable to the use of green electricity in the production of recycled aluminium. The calculation is based on supplier data. We have considered the effects of CO₂ as well as other greenhouse gases and climate-relevant substances, insofar as these are relevant to the analysis. For ease of reading, we use CO₂ synonymously with CO₂ equivalents.

The grease guide plate, torque sensor housing, and wire feeder are among the largest plastic parts in the drive unit. They are manufactured with a recycled content of over 50% (grease guide plate and torque sensor housing) or approx. 35% (wire feeder) (source: supplier data).
