New features for model year 2025

One thing we’re sure of: Connected Biking is the future. The full potential of our eBike systems can only be realised by merging the physical experience with the digital world. The eBike becomes a smart and connected companion, constantly evolving through updates, learning with every ride and always feeling brand new.
This is the promise we made with the smart system, and we fulfil it with every update through the eBike Flow app.
The eBike Flow app is already making eBiking safer, more personalised and more comfortable. That is why we are focussing on four areas when it comes to digital functions: theft protection, navigation, personalisation and update & service.

New functions will be added in model year 2025:

With Range Control, you can now select how full your eBike battery should be on arrival. In addition, the premium functions current charge level and extended navigation offer extra convenience in route planning and navigation. If you are riding with Bosch eBike ABS, you can now view the associated values such as brake duration in the statistics in Activity Tracking.

Other highlights:

If you don't need support on flat sections, you can enjoy more range with the Eco+ riding mode. Motor support then only switches on under heavier loads – e.g. on inclines.

We are also expanding our eShift portfolio in the smart system with new partner solutions from TRP and Shimano. Automatic gear shifting or smooth self-shifting: electric gear shifting solutions remain an important component for a unique eBike experience.
