What is eBike Alarm and how does eBike Alarm work?

eBike Alarm is available for Bosch eBikes with the smart system that are equipped with a ConnectModule. Find out where you can obtain the ConnectModule here.

If your eBike is equipped with the ConnectModule, first activate eBike Alarm.

When enabled, the eBike Alarm is automatically activated as soon as you switch off your eBike. This is indicated by the status "Protected" on the home screen of the Flow app.

If your eBike now detects a movement, a local alarm is first triggered on the eBike. If your eBike continues to move, or if a particularly strong movement is detected, you will receive an alarm notification on your smartphone and can track the position of your eBike in the Flow app. At the same time, the acoustic signal becomes much louder than with slight movements.

Do not attempt to retrieve your eBike yourself. If you are sure that your eBike has been stolen, contact the police as soon as possible and provide all available information about the location. The first hours after a theft are crucial.

eBike Alarm can only be activated together with  eBike Lock.

By the way – when you get on your protected eBike and start riding, it switches on automatically ("Auto wake-up"). In order to receive motor support, you must first press the power button on your eBike.
