Facebook processes your personal data when you visit our fan page. You can find out what personal data is processed by Facebook and what privacy rights you have in relation to Facebook under Facebook's privacy policy mentioned above. We have no influence on data processing by Facebook.


Setting options and access to statistical data
Facebook gives us the following settings options and grants us access to the following data for our fan page:

  • For our fan page or for individual posts published on the fan page, Facebook allows us to set which target group is to be reached. The setting is based on general parameters (e.g. age group, language, region, interests), which can be used to target our content to specific groups. It is not possible for us to address or identify individual persons based on the settings options granted to us by Facebook. 
  • Facebook allows us access to statistical analyses that provide information about the use of our fan page. The analyses visible to us do not allow us to analyse the usage behaviour of individual persons. We can only see aggregated data (including number of hits, likes, followers, region of origin, age group, gender) that provides information about our audience and the usage of our fan page. We have no further influence over Facebook's data processing. We process this data in order to publicise the content on our fan page in a manner appropriate to the target group and to better understand and optimise the use of our fan page.

You can send us messages via Facebook. If you send us messages via Facebook, we receive the following data from Facebook:

  • The message itself

  • Your name

  • Your profile picture

  • Any attachments

  • Voice messages

  • Time, date

We use this data to process your request and to offer you support. For example, you can send us questions about our products and services via our fan page, which we will then answer.

The personal data you provide to us will be transferred to the Bosch legal entity responsible for the inquiry (for example, if your inquiry relates to a product or service marketed by another Bosch legal entity). The Bosch legal entity responsible for processing may also be located outside the EEA. Instagram processes your personal data when you visit our Instagram account or interact with one of our posts.
