Version 1.38
New features for the eBike Flow app and the smart system
Your ride. Your fine tuning.
Discover new possibilities for your personal setup. With this update, you determine how much traction you need on loose or slippery surfaces – and control the Drivetrain Tensioner individually for each riding mode. This gives you precise propulsion at all times on technical sections. On the trail, Trick Check now keeps your last recorded trick in view for even longer. How long does it take until the battery is fully charged? Your display shows the remaining charging time.

Grip that suits you
Adjust the traction control individually to your riding style and needs. This way, you maintain full control, even when the path gets more demanding.
The traction control regulates the motor torque and can therefore prevent the rear wheel from spinning. You can adjust the traction individually for each riding mode and regulate it in four stages: deactivated, low, medium, and high.
Reduce the traction control in dry conditions to bring maximum performance to the trail. Increase it for more control on loose, wet, or technically demanding surfaces. You can find this setting in the menu under "Custom riding modes > Advanced > Traction control".
The traction control is available for the Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y), and the Cargo Line (BDU384Y).

Propulsion according to your preference
You decide your setup: Activate the Drivetrain Tensioner in the riding modes where you want particularly direct propulsion.
The Drivetrain Tensioner pre-loads the drivetrain and therefore reduces pedal free play. As a result, the drive unit converts your power directly into propulsion when pedaling.
You can now switch the function on or off for each custom riding mode in the eBike Flow app. The Drivetrain Tensioner is deactivated by default in all riding modes. Adjust this setting to your setup at any time.
The Drivetrain Tensioner is available for the Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y), and the Cargo Line (BDU384Y).
Your trick remains
Keep an eye on your recorded tricks. They are now displayed for longer on the display, so you can immediately see which tricks you have successfully landed.¹
Add the "Trick Check" screen to your display. You can do this via the display configuration in the eBike Flow app. As soon as you start an activity, the screen initially displays "Waiting for trick".
During a recorded trick, the relevant values are then displayed live on the display. After the trick is completed, the respective maximum values remain visible – until you perform the next trick.

Charging time at a glance
Connect your charger to the eBike – and you'll immediately see how long it will take to fully charge the battery.
As soon as you connect the charger to your eBike, the remaining charging time automatically appears on the display. The remaining duration is displayed in hours and minutes until your battery is 100% fully charged. The indicator runs directly on your eBike display as long as it is connected to the charger.
If you use Flow+ with the ConnectModule, you can also see the remaining charge time directly in the eBike Flow app.²
Note: This function is available for all displays except Intuvia 100.
Note: In individual cases, it may take several days before the update is displayed in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
After you have downloaded the new version of the eBike Flow app, update your eBike with the smart system using the eBike Flow app. This way, you can use all the functions and improvements that we have listed here. Please ensure that all components are attached to your eBike before you update your eBike.
Trick Check works with the Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y), Performance Line CX Race (BDU374Y), Performance Line CX (BDU374Y) as well as Performance Line SX (BDU314Y) and on the following displays: Kiox 300, Kiox 400C, Kiox 500, Purion 200, Purion 400. The Display configuration feature isn't available for Purion 400.
