Version 1.34

New functions for the eBike Flow app and the smart system

An eBike rider jumps his turquoise mountain bike over an earthy hill against a blue sky.

Your ride. Your statistics. Your story.

The trail becomes a challenge, the route an adventure. Want to know what you're made of? Challenge yourself, analyze your performance, and get better and better. The new Trick Check function automatically recognizes Jumps, Wheelies, Manuals and Stoppies. After the ride, you can see your tricks in the eBike Flow app. You can now also view your heart rate data for your ride in the statistics. But your story doesn't end on the trail. Record your favorite places and save them in the eBike Flow app so that every journey becomes a personal story.

At the bottom, the navigation bar features eBike, Planning, the flow symbol, Statistics, and Profile.

More skills. More fun.

Improve your skills and analyze your performance: Trick Check automatically recognizes and records the type of trick you are performing, whether Jumps, Stoppies, Manuals or Wheelies.¹ To help you improve your riding technique, you will receive direct feedback on the display and via an acoustic signal. During the ride, you can see the distance, duration, altitude or angle on your display for eight seconds. After a ride, you can view your top values in the eBike Flow app.

The function is active by default on your Kiox 400C and Purion 400². On all other displays, you can activate the function at any time in the display settings³ as well as switch the signal tone on and off. The sensors are configured to only react to obvious tricks.⁴

Your heartbeat. Your performance.

Make your training even more effective and analyze your heart rate after the ride. You can already connect your heart rate monitor to your eBike via Bluetooth and track your heart rate on your display during a ride.³ This data is saved straight to the eBike Flow app so you can evaluate your heart rate in detail in the statistics after the ride.

To do this, go to the "Statistics" menu item in the eBike Flow app and select a ride. You can see your average heart rate and the progression of your heart rate during the ride.

Save your favorites

When planning your route, you can add places as favorites in the eBike Flow app - for example, your home, your workplace or the destination of your favorite ride. In the "Planning" menu item, up to three favorites can be added as navigation shortcuts using the new button on the map. Select it directly in the quick menu of your Ride Screen or your Kiox 300, Kiox 400C or Kiox 500 display on your next ride and start your route even more easily.

eShift with Gearsensor

Enjoy manual gear changes that feel beautifully smooth – no matter where you are traveling to. eShift supports mechanical hub and derailleur systems that are equipped with the GS gear shifting solution for manual gear shifting from Gearsensor. This briefly interrupts motor support while you are shifting gear, making gear changes feel more comfortable.

The Gearsensor eShift solution is now stored in the eBike Flow app. You can find this function in the eBike Flow app settings under My eBike > eShift.

Improvements for eBike Lock

In this version, we have improved other functions of the eBike Flow app. For example, if you use eBike Lock with your smartphone as a key, your eBike is unlocked twice as fast.
