The eBike Flow app is your gateway to Bosch's digital theft protection: You can lock motor support, making your eBike less appealing to thieves. If it's stolen, you can mark it as stolen in the app. With Flow+, you can add GPS location tracking and alerts to your eBike.²

Before your ride, you'll plan your route. Once on the road, the navigation system will guide you to your destination. After that, you can analyze ride data such as distance, power, and cadence in the statistics and share it.

In the eBike Flow app, you can customize your eBike's riding modes to suit your ride—for example, for more powerful acceleration or more efficient battery use.

In the eBike Flow app, you can see how much battery charge is expected to remain once you arrive. You also specify the battery level you want to have when you reach your destination.³

If your eBike is locked, motor support remains disabled. This makes your eBike less appealing to thieves. To unlock it, use your smartphone as a digital key.

What can I do with the eBike Flow app?

With the eBike Flow app, you can provide your eBike with additional digital theft protection, plan routes and navigate to your destination, analyze ride data, and download updates to your eBike. How do I connect my eBike to the app?

Download the eBike Flow app, open it, and create an account. Next, turn on your eBike, activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, and follow the steps in the app.

What happens if I don't have an internet connection?

The smartphone and eBike are connected via Bluetooth. That's why you can use some features of the eBike Flow app even without an internet connection — for example, to lock or unlock motor support. You'll need an internet connection for certain settings, as well as for calculating or recalculating routes. Your ride data will be temporarily stored and synchronized later. Do I need the ConnectModule?

No. You can also use the eBike Flow app without the ConnectModule. You only need the ConnectModule for certain premium services of Flow+ — such as using the alarm on your eBike, tracking its location via GPS, or checking the current battery level remotely.

What is the difference between the eBike Flow app and the eBike Connect app?

The eBike Flow app is designed for eBikes equipped with the Bosch smart system. The eBike Connect app is designed for eBikes equipped with the Bosch eBike System 2.
