Smarter eBiking
The smart system by Bosch eBike Systems – consisting of eBike Flow app, control unit, display, battery and drive unit – ensures a unique eBike experience. The new system generation combines technologically high-quality eBike components with digital functions and thus raises your everyday and leisure riding enjoyment to the next level.
Your eBike Flow app is the key component here. It opens up a fully connected eBike world, for completely new riding options. You can enhance your eBike with new functions and over-the-air updates, record your activities, customise riding modes and keep an eye on all the important information via the Home screen.
New features
SmartphoneGrip
The ideal everyday and touring companion: The SmartphoneGrip allows you to attach your smartphone to the handlebar, turning it into a display with the eBike Flow app. This gives you all the important ride and eBike information at your fingertips. This turns the smartphone into the largest display in the Bosch eBike Systems portfolio. It is operated using the LED Remote while charging it at the same time with the SmartphoneGrip. Depending on your needs, you can simply switch between the SmartphoneGrip or Kiox 300 as both use the same display interfaces.
eBike Lock
After a one-off installation via the eBike Flow app, the smartphone acts as your digital key for deactivating motor support. Recognition takes place automatically via Bluetooth technology, so your smartphone can stay in your pocket. Whether eBike Lock is active and motor support therefore deactivated is indicated by short tones, lights and symbols on the LED Remote, the display or smartphone. If your smartphone gets lost, simply log into the eBike Flow app with your account on another smartphone. eBike Lock in the smart system offers free, additional theft protection and more security for your eBike.
Ride Screen
Attach the SmartphoneGrip to the handlebar, insert your smartphone and open the eBike Flow app. The Ride Screen shows you your current speed and the battery charge level. While riding, you can use the LED Remote to switch between the Ride Screen and Navigation without taking your hands off the handlebars – safely and conveniently.
Navigation and route planning with the eBike Flow app
Select the route profile that suits your riding situation – such as daily rides, leisure rides or eMTB trails to get perfectly matched route suggestions. The navigation, with a map display specially adapted to the route profiles, makes it easier for you to find your way: In the city, for example, through buildings in 3D view. Detailed route information informs you about features such as elevation and route characteristics, additional notes on the map mark important points such as bicycle retailers or charging stations.
Favourite apps
Connect the eBike Flow app with the komoot and Strava apps and automatically record your ride and fitness data as soon as you set off. If desired, the activity tracking for iPhone users can also automatically synchronise all data with Apple Health. When you take a break, recording of your ride stops automatically. It starts automatically when you ride off again. You can also stop it manually at any time with the Stop button.
