Custom riding modes

The smart system

Decide for yourself with which support and dynamics as well as with which maximum torque and up to which maximum speed the eBike will take you forward. You can adapt all riding modes to your needs in the eBike Flow app. So you not only get the best possible support for your training, tour or commute to work, but also one that is precisely tailored to you.

It's not possible to customise your riding mode on S-pedelecs.

FAQs & more

The Bosch eBike ABS is attached to the left side of the fork of your eBike.

You have four riding modes on your eBike. You can adapt these according to your needs in the eBike Flow app. Learn more in this  video.

If you can't adjust the riding modes, check if there is an active connection between the Flow app and your eBike.

If you want to change the riding modes available on your eBike, e.g. replace Sport with eMTB, you can put together your four favourite riding modes yourself in the eBike Flow app. You can find the function in your eBike Flow app at  Settings > My eBike > Custom riding modes (app update 1.18 required). Alternatively, you can also contact your  bicycle retailer. Please note that limitations apply to this. For example, eCargo bikes cannot have an eMTB mode.

For S-pedelecs, adjusting riding modes is disabled for legal reasons.

By the selection of the parameters you can end up in a combination which could create a strange riding feeling - depending on the underlying assistance mode. This could for example happen, if you select a high assistance but a low torque. In this case due to the limited torque you can not reach the selected maximum assistance level. Please change the parameters in order to gain a better riding experience.
