eBike registration

If you want to make full use of all the functions of the eBike Flow app, such as digital theft protection with eBike Lock or updates over-the-air, you need to register your eBike. If your eBike is registered to you, you link your eBike to your account so that only you can use it. This allows you to assign your eBike exclusively to your account. 

How to register your eBike:

  1. Open the eBike Flow app.
  2. Make sure you are logged in with your account.
  3. Before registering, make sure that your eBike is switched on and that your eBike is connected.
  4. Your phone must also be connected to the Internet and Bluetooth must be switched on.
  5. Click on the info banner on the home screen or in the settings of the eBike Flow app.
  6. Follow the instructions and click on register eBike.

What happens if my eBike is not registered?

If your eBike is not registered, you can only use some functions of the eBike Flow app, for example Activity Tracking, custom riding modes and navigation with Kiox 300 or 500 or the Ride screen in combination with the SmartphoneGrip.

If your eBike is not registered, other eBike Flow app users can also connect to your eBike to use it. If your eBike is registered, you link your eBike to your account so that only you can use it. This allows you to assign your eBike exclusively to your account.
