New features for the eBike Flow app and the smart system
Connect more easily, navigate better
The eBike Flow app is getting even better in the areas of navigation, registration and service: if you stray from the route you imported via komoot or as a GPX file during navigation, you will now be guided back to your original route more effectively. The registration process has been adapted for new users of the eBike Flow app who have not yet connected an eBike.
Note: In some cases it can take several days until the update is displayed in the Apple AppStore or Google Play Store.

Return to your planned komoot or GPX route as quickly as possible
As eBike fans, we're familiar with the problem: you're enjoying the view or the countryside, causing you to miss the next turn-off and deviate from the planned route. You need to re-route, a function that we have fundamentally improved with this version for imported routes (from komoot or via GPX file). If you deviate from your planned route, we will automatically calculate the best way back to your original planned trip. Once you are back on track, your original route will be displayed again as usual.
Ready to go with the eBike Flow app: create account, connect eBike, register eBike
With this version, we have redesigned the registration process in the eBike Flow app. Only if you register your eBike can you make full use of all the functions of the eBike Flow app and assign your eBike exclusively to your account.
We also make it easier for eBike dealers to provide eBikes for test rides.
If you have already connected your eBike to the eBike Flow app before this update, you don't need to take any further action.
Digital service book with test results for your battery capacity
When the eBike season starts, it is advisable to check the capacity of your eBike battery. Your trusted specialist dealer has a special test device with which he can check the performance of your battery. Since March 2024, this test result can also be displayed in the digital service book in the 1.19 version of the eBike Flow app – here, you can find an overview of all services and maintenance carried out. You’re not using the digital service book yet? Simply contact your specialist dealer so that they can synchronise your service appointments with the eBike Flow app.
eBike Flow app with iPhone 7 or older
We optimise and improve the eBike Flow app with each update. To provide you with a unique experience in terms of functionality and performance, in future the eBike Flow app will only support Apple models from the iPhone 8 with iOS 16 or higher. Unfortunately, owners of an iPhone 7 or older will not be able to receive any further updates for the eBike Flow app.
Note: After downloading the new version of the eBike Flow app, update your eBike with the smart system via the eBike Flow app. This way you can take advantage of all the features and improvements we have listed here. Please ensure that all the components are attached to your eBike before updating it.
