Requirements

When you are in the Nyon navigation screen, your current location is displayed on a map. Nyon has its own GNSS receiver (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS) and therefore does not need a smartphone connection to pinpoint a location (however, a connected smartphone can speed up the positioning of the GPS signal itself). For this to happen, you must be able to receive signals, at your location, from GPS satellites.

Once enough satellites have been found, the color of your location changes from Gray to Blue. If the weather or location is unfavorable, the satellite search may take a little longer. For the best positioning accuracy, the initial satellite search should take place in the open air.
