Regular service checks are important to maintain the full functionality of your eBike.

Regular service

More riding enjoyment and an eBike that won't let you down: With the help of the service interval display, the eBike dealer can set a regular interval for checking your eBike. Mechanical components such as brakes, brake pads and tire treads should be serviced regularly.

Lack of protection

eBike riders who do not wear a helmet have a higher risk of head injury in the event of an accident.

Pay attention to your own safety

Wearing a helmet protects against head injuries. In-mold helmets offer good protection. During manufacture, the shock-absorbing hard foam is injected directly into the outer shell.

Tampering with your eBike by tuning it will not only endanger your own safety, but will also provoke stricter regulations for eBikes as well as future government bans.

Making tuning unattractive

The software of the Bosch eBike systems detects tampering with the eBike and switches to emergency mode when it detects it. This reduces support, protects the system and makes tampering unattractive.

An eBike is more than just a bike, the electric support provides smooth acceleration. At first, the sudden boost in acceleration and handling characteristics of your eBike may be unfamiliar.

Incorrect starting is a common cause of error with dangerous consequences.

Supporting technology

With the automatic eShift solutions for hub gear systems, you start in the optimal starting gear. This enables smooth starting and optimum acceleration. eShift is available for eBikes with the Bosch eBike system 2.

Whether on firm asphalt or slippery gravel tracks: anyone who has to brake sharply in unexpected situations needs safety and control.

Safer stopping

The Bosch eBike ABS allows you to brake more safely and with more confidence. It can prevent the front wheel from locking and help prevent the wheels from skidding. This means that you stay more securely in the saddle even during spontaneous and hard braking – whether on firm asphalt or slippery gravel tracks.

Distractions in road traffic

Cyclists who get distracted are a risk to themselves and others. Typing on a smartphone in particular has a negative impact on riding behavior.

Relevant information and safer operation

With the SmartphoneGrip, you turn your smartphone into an eBike display. Connected to the control unit via Bluetooth, you can control the display on the eBike Flow app with both hands on the handlebar: This way you will be supported with important information during your ride and can ride more safely and with greater focus. However, the same thing always applies: keep your eye on the traffic and follow the rules.

Theft

eBikes are popular – unfortunately also with thieves. Anyone who is out and about on their eBike also wants to keep a good feeling they park it.

Additional theft protection for your eBike

In addition to a mechanical lock, you can improve the theft protection of your eBike with innovative products and features. For example, with eBike Alarm – the alarm function for your eBike. If a thief tries to tamper with your eBike, eBike Alarm reacts with deterrent alarm signals. If the thief doesn't give up and moves your eBike significantly, the tracking function will automatically activate and you will receive a message on your smartphone.
