Park the eBike and enjoy some worry-free downtime - the 'Lock' premium function is the ideal complement to a mechanical lock. 'Lock' enables motor support to be deactivated by removing the on-board computer. Only by attaching the same on-board computer does the lock automatically unlock again. The display and acoustic signals indicate whether the function is activated. 'Lock' is already available for the Kiox on-board computer and, from model year 2021, also for the new Nyon on-board computer. There is a one-time set up by means of the eBike Connect app, involving an in-app purchase. 

Acoustic feedback

Unmissable: As with the central locking on a car, audible feedback tells you whether Lock has been activated or deactivated. The acoustic signals can be switched on and off in the app.

Smart connection: 'Lock' is already available with the connected Kiox on-board computer and, from model year 2021, also with the new Nyon. The eBike can only be unlocked with the same on-board computer with which the 'Lock' feature was originally set up via the app.

Deterrent: If 'Lock' is activated, it is no longer possible to ride with motor support. This makes the eBike less attractive to thieves: They will be unable to enjoy the eBike for themselves nor will they easily sell it on to someone else.

The 'Lock' premium function can be configured using Kiox and the eBike Connect smartphone app. 'Lock' is activated when the on-board computer is disconnected, ideally supplementing your eBike's mechanical lock, giving you security and peace of mind whenever you take a break.
