With the smart system from Bosch eBike Systems, we continuously provide new functions that enable even more riding enjoyment. For us, riding enjoyment also means: riding safely, arriving without a hitch and parking your eBike securely, with complete confidence.
In model year 2023, the smart system now offers you even more safety. We combine high-quality hardware components with innovative digital features to protect you and your eBike even better. The new Bosch eBike ABS allows safer braking for any type of eBike and on any surface. eBike Alarm is the new alarm function for eBikes and promises, in conjunction with eBike Lock, even more comprehensive additional protection against theft.

Bosch eBike Innovations 2023
The Bosch eBike ABS
People often only use their rear brake out of caution or fear. But the Bosch eBike ABS now lets you brake more safely and confidently with both brakes at the same time. It counteracts any tendency for the front wheel to locks or slip.
eBike Alarm
eBike Alarm is the alarm function and the ideal supplement to a mechanical lock – for even better theft protection: After a one-time installation via the eBike Flow app, your smartphone serves as a digital key. If you switch off your eBike, eBike Alarm activates automatically.
Cargo Line
The Cargo Line is now part of our smart system. Take advantage of continuous component updates over-the-air, or customise your riding modes on the eBike Flow app.
Performance Line
The versatile and virtually silent Performance Line is now also part of the smart system. Enjoy the benefits, stay active and keep exploring your surroundings. The eBike Flow app lets you can keep your eBike up to date at all times with over-the-air updates: Try the new Auto riding mode and enjoy the ride.
Performance Line Speed
On sale from 2023, Performance Line Speed will also be integrated into the smart system. Benefit from over-the-air updates and keep your S-pedelec components at the top of their game. Get where you're going quickly and efficiently thanks to Performance Line Speed's powerful acceleration and support – up to 45 km/h.
New batteries for the smart system
The range of rechargeable batteries for the smart system will be further expanded for the 2023 model year.
New to the portfolio are the PowerTube 500 and 625, as well as the PowerPacks 545 and 725.
Intuvia 100
With the Intuvia 100, you get a display that is intuitive to use and ready to go. The display is particularly clearly designed thanks to the large font and, together with the shift recommendation, gives you more safety and comfort when riding.
System Controller and Mini Remote
Reduced to the essentials, the System Controller is the control unit for eBikes with the smart system. The deliberately limited number of functions and information facilitates a quick overview and ensures there are no distractions while riding.
The Mini Remote supplements the System Controller as an additional operating panel, extending the range of functions and enabling safe operation.
