Special riding mode
Thanks to Auto mode, you stay relaxed, even on climbs and in strong headwinds, without any additional effort. Auto mode automatically adapts the support to the conditions.

The Bosch eBike ABS helps you to brake more safely in every situation and to use the front brake to optimal effect. Moreover, the Active Line is also compatible with backpedal brakes.

Walk assistance
With walk assist, you can make steep climbs easier to manage when walking.
Off to work in the morning and to the restaurant in the evening: riding is fun with the Active Line. Super-quiet and providing smooth support, it is ideal for city routes. Its finely balanced acceleration and barely perceptible pedal resistance over 25 km/h or in Off mode make every ride relaxing and leisurely – even in rush hour traffic.
Together with the Active Line Plus, the Active Line is the quietest drive unit Bosch eBike Systems offers. This makes both eBike drives ideal for relaxed rides without annoying background noise.
Sensitive support
With its sophisticated sensor and software concept, the Active Line responds sensitively to your riding behaviour and ensures smooth start-up. With up to 40 Newton metres of torque, it also supports you when you pedal faster. The Active Line drives you forward confidently in the city and enables you to handle your eBike more safely in every riding situation.
Relaxing Auto mode
Make your eBike ride even more pleasant with Auto mode. It controls the support automatically so you don't need to switch between riding modes or work yourself into a sweat. If there are headwinds or on uphill gradients, you can fully focus on the road ahead and enjoy your ride to the fullest.
If you opt for an eBike with hub gear system, you have the option of selecting a backpedal brake with the Active Line Plus. It gives you a safer feeling and increased comfort when braking because you can, for example, give hand signals and brake at the same time.

Additional safety: ABS Touring
Uneven road surfaces, zebra crossings and traffic lights are part and parcel of every trip. Whether you're commuting to work, or taking some time out from the city traffic in nature at the weekend, you need brakes you can rely on. ABS Touring gives you the certainty of being able to brake in a controlled manner at all times.
Ideal addition to the lock: eBike Lock is your free additional theft protection. Lock and unlock your eBike automatically using your phone or display as a key.
Turn your phone into an eBike display: you can use the ride screen with the SmartphoneGrip. It not only shows you all the important riding data, but also offers fully-fledged navigation with 3D map display.
Personalise your display: configure your Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 display according to your needs. Create new screens containing your favourite information. Choose from over 30 screen layout options and arrange them according to your wishes.
The eBike Flow app is the centrepiece of our smart system and gives you a better riding experience: safer, more customised and more convenient. Updates keep your eBike up to date and provide it with new functions.

The well-balanced drive system
The Active Line is ideal for all those who want moderate support during everyday eBike use. The Active Line also makes the perfect team with the Purion, Intuvia, Kiox, Nyon on-board computers and with the Bosch eBike system 2 Bosch eBike batteries. Experience controlled acceleration with a barely audible drive.
A lightweight and quiet Bosch motor provides even more riding fun without annoying extraneous noises.
Easy handling
The innovative drive concept enables a drive unit weight of under 3 kilograms and, thanks to the compact size, improved integration into the bicycle frame. The low centre of gravity in the middle of the eBike ensures easy handling. The Active Line is compatible with derailleur or hub gear systems. The optional backpedal function for hub gear systems helps you to brake particularly comfortably.
