Controlled, lightweight and quiet, it is ideal for navigating city streets. Its controlled acceleration and barely perceptible pedal resistance over 20 mph or in Off mode make every ride a pleasant experience. Its elegant design has won a Red Dot Design Award. The drive unit integrates perfectly into the bike frame, making handling and life a little easier thanks to its low weight.

Plastic gear wheel

For the quiet transmission of the motor torque to the hollow shaft and thus to the chainring

Absorbs the power of the electric motor and transmits it via a freewheel to the hollow shaft. On the hollow shaft, the chainring is fixed by means of a multi-tooth receiver and a fastening nut.

The pedal is secured on the crankshaft with the crank arm by means of a multi-tooth receiver.

Motor control

For controlling the drive system

The electronic control centre of the drive ensures smooth delivery of power, processing over 1,000 measured values per second.

Torque sensor

Detects the rider's own pedal power and passes this on to the motor control system

Alongside the cadence and speed sensor, this is the key component for determining riding behaviour.

Electrical Connections

For battery, sensors and light

The drive unit contains all the cable connections for the battery, display, sensors and third party components.

Gears

The Active Line is compatible with both the derailleur and hub gear systems.

Experience controlled acceleration with minimum pedal resistance when switched off or at over 20 mph.

Outstanding support

Max. torque
