Axial and pivot describe the type of installation of PowerTube batteries in the bicycle frame. The axial PowerTube is pushed into the side of the frame from below (drive unit), the pivot PowerTube is swiveled into the frame. The variants offer eBike manufacturers the option of developing various bike designs. The batteries have the same performance and properties in both installation variants.
