Where does the ABS perform control interventions?

The ABS performs control interventions on the front wheel, as this is where the greatest braking force is generated. If there is a risk of the front wheel locking as a result of excessive braking - if the rider is startled or due to a braking reflex - the ABS counteracts a slipping and locking front wheel. In this way, a fall can be prevented.
