With the eBike Flow app version 1.13, it is possible now to optimize the smartphone battery consumption if the yellow banner Optimize your smartphone battery consumption is displayed in your app.
To do this, please follow the instruction below:

• On the home screen, go to the yellow banner Optimize your smartphone battery consumption and tap Continue.
• Allow the eBike Flow app to access your eBike on the upcoming system dialog to create a companionship between your eBike and the app.
  With this setting, Android wakes up the app when your eBike is turned on and around. The rest of the time, the app can sleep and save the battery.
  The yellow banner will remain on the home screen until you have optimized your energy consumption.
