How does the CO2 tracker do its calculations?

The CO2 tracker does its calculations based on the following input data:

• Electricity consumption of eBike: 7 Wh/km (result of the  R200 range test)
• Emissions due to electricity consumption:  OECD IEA
• Emissions due to fuel consumption:  OECD IEA
• Average consumption of car categories: ADAC

In order to obtain the most accurate values possible, you have the option of storing your personal consumption data and current fuel or electricity prices in the COBI.Bike app.
As the feature uses average values for power consumption and fuel consumption, displayed values may deviate slightly from actual CO2 emissions.
