My recorded ride includes straight lines for the stretches when I was not connected to the eBike (e.g. car ride) - why?

Your ride, for example, includes the car trip if activity tracking was already started on the way to the car before your bike ride. During the car ride, there is no Bluetooth connection between eBike Flow app and your eBike. The trip is therefore displayed as a straight line connecting the start and end points of the car trip. We recommend that you leave your eBike turned off on the way to your car.

If you need to switch on the eBike on the way to the car and the distance is more than 200m:

  1. End activity tracking before loading the eBike into the car.
  2. Delete the short trip from your statistics afterwards.
