What should I do if the eBike cannot be turned on via the display because its internal rechargeable battery is empty?

Before turning the eBike on, charge the display using the USB connection or switch on the eBike using the eBike battery. The display battery will then be charged by the eBike battery. (Exception: Purion requires a change of battery)
