Axial and pivot describe the type of installation of PowerTube batteries in the bicycle frame. The axial PowerTube is pushed into the side of the frame from below (drive unit), the pivot PowerTube is swivelled into the frame. The variants offer eBike manufacturers the option of developing various bike designs. In both installation variants, the batteries have the same performance and the same properties.
