In addition, they are lightweight, ergonomic, and easy to recharge and install. The Battery Management System that comes with these high-quality lithium-ion batteries detects potential error sources and protects cells from overheating. Bosch has the perfect rechargeable battery model for every type of eBike, from rack batteries to frame batteries as well as integrated solutions. The Bosch DualBattery solution, for example, is perfect for Hybrid eBikes, long-distance commuter eBikes or cargo eBikes, delivering up to 1,250 Watt hours.

PowerPacks
The versatile power source: PowerPacks from Bosch are available in different versions. As a frame battery, they are close to the bike’s center of gravity. This has a positive effect on riding behavior. The rack variant (only available in Bosch eBike System 2) is ideal for step-through models, and offers even more freedom when mounting and dismounting. Charging works quite simply for both variants: For charging with a Bosch Charger, the PowerPacks can be removed simply or conveniently charged on the bike. The high-quality, long-life eBike batteries from Bosch offer the highest energy density with compact size and low weight.

PowerTubes
For the highest demands in terms of performance and esthetics. Bosch PowerTubes have the power to drive any ride, and – thanks to their compact size and minimalist design – can be ideally integrated into the eBike design. There are two versions (horizontal and vertical), which are installed directly by the manufacturer depending on the eBike model. The sophisticated technology guarantees peace of mind. A safety catch prevents the batteries from falling out, but still allows them to be removed with ease. Bosch offers three variants each of integrable lithium-ion batteries in the smart system and in the Bosch eBike System 2, which cover all areas of application with different energy contents.

DualBattery
No distance is too great. DualBattery is the ideal solution for tour riders, long-distance commuters, cargo bikers or mountain bikers. The combination of two Bosch batteries delivers up to 1,250 Wh and can be installed by the manufacturer in almost any battery combination*. The system switches intelligently between the two batteries during charging and discharging. This ensures that both batteries are charged and discharged uniformly, which significantly extends their service life. You can also use just one battery, depending on your requirements.
DualBattery is only available for the Bosch eBike System 2.
* PowerPack 300 and PowerTube 400 cannot be used in a DualBattery combination.
