The eMountain bike is taking the mountains by storm in the true sense of the word. Thats because the electric tailwind now makes it possible to experience a fantastic flow, including uphill! Riding maneuvers that would have once been unthinkable have now become possible with an eMTB. In cooperation with the Steineggerhof in South Tyrol, a hotel specializing in mountain bike tours, Bosch eBike systems is now offering a riding techniques camp. Trial world champion Stefan Schlie shows how to get the most out your eMTB and give a good account of yourself uphill as well as downhill.
Training with the pro
At the riding techniques camp at the Steineggerhof, up and coming peak performers on two wheels get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: to train with a real pro. From June 5 to 12 and August 7 to 14, trials world champion and eMTB professional Stefan Schlie will offer the eBike riding techniques camp epowered by Bosch. He will support the participants like an eBike guide, providing advice and on-hands assistance. Topics covered will range from technique tips, like selecting the right gear or appropriate level of support, to safety questions. Here too, the central rule applies: Safety first.
Exploring the most beautiful trails in the Dolomites in small groups
The tips and tricks learned at the camp can be used right away in the small groups that set off to explore the regions most beautiful tours by bike. South Tyrol, with its special topographic features, is considered the perfect testing ground for the sport of mountain biking. Fantastic panorama trails, rapid descents and snappy ascents offer bikers optimal conditions and rich, varied routes.
Trying out different bike models in the test center
The Steineggerhof can draw upon more than twenty years of experience in bike tourism. Guided tours are offered several times per week and the technique camps are also very popular.
