In the owner manual, it states that data is transferred to Bosch when the eBike is connected to the Bosch DiagnosticTool. Why is that and to which Bosch products does this apply?

I have had my drive unit replaced and have been notified that data will be transferred to Bosch when I take the eBike to the dealer. What does that mean?
