Updates available for Nyon, the app and the portal
Above all, the current update offers an expanded and fully revised new edition of the app. In the online portal, you will now find interesting cycling routes from Outdooractive and can transfer them to your Nyon. There are also new features for Nyon. Here the maps were updated (as of June 2018).
A News Feed service is now available to you in the new eBike Connect app. Among other things, the feed will provide you with information and up-to-the-minute news about your cycling activities and the topic of eBikes. In addition, you can also save planned routes in the app. The saved routes are available under "My routes" in the eBike Connect app, in the portal and in Nyon.
The integration of Outdooractive content means you can easily and conveniently discover exciting routes in your area in the eBike Connect online portal. You can select the Outdooractive route of your choice under "Route planning > Explore" and save it in the portal. This can then be transferred to Nyon, so your ride can begin.
The map update for Nyon also includes the eBike Connect smartphone app and the ebike-connect.com online portal.

From now on you can find, select and save Outdooractive routes under "Route planning > Explore". These will then be transferred to Nyon, enabling you to navigate them with ease.

Data protection settings:
you can now decide whether the heart rate data stored in Nyon can be transferred to your eBike Connect user profile. Likewise, data such as weight or activity level will not be transferred to Nyon without your explicit consent.

Maps:
An update for the maps (status June 2018) is immediately available to download. The map update also includes the eBike Connect smartphone app and the ebike-connect.com online portal.
Further improvements
T&Cs, privacy policy and service description:
We updated our T&Cs, privacy policy and service description in November 2018.
Data protection settings:
you can now decide whether the heart rate data stored in Nyon can be transferred to your eBike Connect user profile. Likewise, data such as weight or activity level will not be transferred to Nyon without your explicit consent. GPS data may also only be transferred to your eBike Connect user profile with your approval.
Position-dependent data:
you can now decide whether the activities stored in Nyon, including GPS data, can be transferred to your eBike Connect user profile. The navigation functions and the details of your home or work address will not be affected. You can make the settings in the eBike Connect portal under "My profile".

Please appreciate that the following functions need to be deactivated temporarily:
Maps Manager:
This entire feature is unavailable in the present version of this app. Already downloaded maps will be deleted after the update.
Displaying incoming messages:
This entire feature is unavailable in the present version of this app.
Deleting fitness data:
This entire feature is unavailable in the present version of this app. However, you can delete your data in the eBike Connect portal under "My profile".
Login with Facebook:
This entire feature is unavailable in the present version of this app. However, you can log into the portal with Facebook as usual.
Zoom function within an activity:
The zoom feature in the map section of an activity is temporarily unavailable.
