I get the message "Software update failed" and I am repeatedly asked to restart the update but each time it fails.

A software update is a complex process and sometimes unforeseen errors occur.

If the error occurs during the Download (1st step of the update), we recommend the following steps:

  1. Switch off your eBike and then remove it in the eBike Flow app under  > My eBike. No settings will be lost in the process.
  2. Remove your eBike from the Bluetooth settings of your phone.
  3. Restart your smartphone.
  4. Reconnect the eBike Flow app to your eBike.
  5. Start the software update again.

If you are asked to start the update again during the installation (3rd step of the update), please contact your  bicycle retailer.
