How can I activate and use the eBike Lock function and deactivate it?

Activating eBike Lock:

To activate the eBike Lock, make sure that your smartphone is connected to your eBike via Bluetooth.

Next, in the eBike Flow app, go to  Settings > eBike settings > eBike Lock.

If you are unable to find the eBike Lock in the settings, take a look at the troubleshooting steps here.

When eBike Lock is activated, motor support is automatically locked every time you switch off your eBike. Switch off your eBike by pressing the On/Off button on your LED Remote. In addition, your eBike will automatically switch off if it is not used for 10 minutes or if you remove your eBike battery or your Kiox 300/Kiox 500 display (if applicable).

To unlock your eBike, switch it on and make sure that your smartphone is nearby. Also, make sure Bluetooth is enabled and the eBike Flow app is running in the background. If you have deactivated Automatic unlock, tap and hold Unlock on the Home screen of the eBike Flow app.

If you have a Kiox 300/Kiox 500 display, you can also unlock your eBike using your Kiox.

When your eBike is switched on, the LED Remote starts to flash and searches for your smartphone to unlock your eBike. As soon as your smartphone is detected, your eBike is unlocked

To make sure that your eBike is locked, you can activate the lock tone under  Settings > eBike settings > eBike Lock > Lock tone.

If unlocking the eBike is unsuccessful, take a look at the troubleshooting steps here.

Are you using a used eBike?
Reset all keys to ensure that only you can unlock your eBike.  Settings > eBike settings > eBike Lock > Unlock settings > Reset key

Tip for Android users:
If unlocking takes a long time, try excluding the eBike Flow app from all energy saving functions.

Deactivating the eBike Lock:

Go to  Settings > eBike settings > eBike Lock. > Deactivate
