Setting and using the map
Moving the map section:
Move the map by placing your index and middle finger together on the display and moving them in parallel in the desired direction.
- Zoom into the map by moving two fingers further apart
- Zoom out of the map by pinching inwards with two fingers
In addition, the zoom level can also be set via the selection button (hash key) on the remote. This enables simple zooming without taking your hands off the handlebars when riding. In the map settings, you can enable Autozoom.
Switching between 2D and 3D:
In the navigation menu, go to Map settings > Map style.
When navigation is active, you can set 2D/3D mode by tapping the arrow symbol at the bottom left corner of the navigation screen.
You can access map settings in the navigation screen of your Nyon.
Here, you can select the map display (2D/3D) and check and download maps and map updates.
Maps of Germany, Austria and Switzerland are pre-installed.
You can download additional maps in map settings.
The maps are based on OpenStreetMap, or OSM for short. The maps have been optimised by Bosch for use on Nyon and for a simple, high-contrast display and show not only bike paths but also various surfaces as well as bicycle-specific elements such as steps. Map elements that are not relevant to eBike riding (e.g. motorways) are modified or less prominently displayed.
Points of interest
Nyon allows you to search for points of interest within a certain radius. To do this, go to the navigation screen, tap then tap the POIs category. You will see categories that may be of interest to you. When you tap a specific category, you will receive particular suggestions. After you have selected one of these options, you can start navigation.
