What is an eBike system?

The electric drive of the eBike, the display with the matching control unit and the battery are the components that make an eBike. They are supplemented by digital services and apps. In a system, all components communicate with each other and adjust to your particular riding situation. So you ride more efficiently, more comfortably and with more riding enjoyment.

Display – important information in view

The display and control unit allow you to view and select various information – for example, how fast you are going or approximately how many kilometres you can still ride with the current battery charge. In addition, it shows you which riding mode you have currently selected.

Battery – the energy source

The eBike draws the energy to power you everywhere from the eBike battery. It supplies the drive unit with power and has a critical influence on the range. That is why there are eBike batteries for different requirements as well as for different installation and mounting variants.

Drive unit – the motor of your eBike

The eBike motor, also referred to as the drive unit, gives you additional electrical support depending on your effort, speed and the selected riding mode. To provide the appropriate support, our drives are optimised for the various eBike types.

Apps & portal – digital extensions for your components

Apps and their digital features support you before, during and after the ride and enhance your eBike experience. Whether for route planning or navigation, whether through range information, important training data or parking your eBike more safely: You are always sure of getting there and can fully relish the riding enjoyment.

The smart system is the beginning of a new kind of digital eBike future: In the latest system generation of Bosch eBike Systems, all components are fully interconnected. The eBike Flow app is the linchpin: Through them, you constantly get new features for your eBike. You can simply transfer updates for your components via Bluetooth. This way, your eBike always remains up to date and is continuously enhanced after purchase.

The Bosch eBike system 2 was developed for limitless riding pleasure: It impresses with a wide range of components and functions – everyone can thus find the right display, the right drive and the suitable battery. In conjunction with the eBike Connect app and the eBike Connect online portal, you can plan your routes in the comfort of your own home, creating a personalised eBike moment of happiness with every ride.
