Does eBike Alarm require an internet connection?

An internet connection is required when activating and deactivating eBike Lock or eBike Alarm. You do not need an internet connection to turn on ("arm") eBike Alarm.

Note: To be able to send alarm notifications and location updates, the ConnectModule needs a connection to the internet. If your eBike is moved a lot but the ConnectModule cannot connect to the Internet, it will try to connect until reception is available again.
