As a physician, Herbert Boll knows how important healthy exercise is. Personally, he's delighted with the eBike as a means of exercise.

Better fitness. Better quality of life.

For 27 years, Herbert Boll was a company physician at Bosch. During that time he always believed that sufficient exercise was the key to a healthy life. In fact, he was often been heard telling his patients to “go ride a bike.” Yet, only after retirement did Boll take up cycling himself – as the eBike allowed him to shed his fears about Stuttgart's steeply graded streets. “It feels as though I'm being pushed along a bit by Big Brother.” In addition to enjoying tours together with his wife, the 65-year-old is proud of his significantly improved fitness. His ECG results show that his heart is stronger than 75% of men in his age group. Before eBiking that number was only 8%. “I'd recommend eBiking to anyone. It's got nothing to do with age.”

Nearly a thousand miles a year

eBiking offers new freedom

Herbert Boll rides almost a thousand miles a year on his eBike. “A lot of that mileage is from doing dream tours that have been on our list for years.” But he and his wife wouldn't have taken these tours on conventional bicycles. The eBike has afforded them added mobility – and they're enjoying their new riding sensation.
