More boost on the mountain. The Uphill Flow.
Every mountain is unique. Every trail a challenge. But flow isn't only achieved on the downhills. Because the eMTB mode gives you a boost on the uphills, too. Always optimally adapted to you, the incline and the terrain – regardless of rocks, roots or steps. With this riding mode, which you can select via your display, you'll receive ample power on the uphills and can enjoy them just like the descents! So you get power on the uphills and can enjoy them like the downhills. A unique riding sensation for maximum riding enjoyment in eMountain biking. We call this 'Uphill Flow'.
The gradient and surface vary constantly. But the eMTB mode gets you going in all riding situations. On gentle climbs, it sensitively delivers the support of the drive system. On steep sections it helps you conquer obstacles and gives you more control. However much power you need: The sensor-controlled eMTB mode recognises it in a flash from the pressure on the pedals.

What our athletes have to say about eMTB mode

Nathalie Schneitter
Experience
“I like tricky climbs that challenge me technically. Climbs that require a lot of intuition. The most rewarding eMTB mode experience is mastering an uphill climb that I previously thought was impossible.”

Greta Weithaler
Confirmation
“Uphill, before tight turns or steep steps, I sometimes doubt myself if it's possible – and the very next moment I've moved on without a problem. The eMTB mode is so much fun because it lets me overcome uphill obstacles with ease.”

Tracy Moseley
Enjoyment
“How much support do I need? Which mode is the right one? It doesn't matter. The eMTB mode always supports me just right, so I don't have to think much about it and can enjoy the ride.”

Kathi Kuypers
Trust
“I ride in eMTB mode 90 percent of the time because I trust it 100 percent. I'm not overwhelmed with too much power and not underwhelmed with not enough thrust. That gives me huge confidence. I also trust the eMTB mode for big jumps.”
