What does the eBike Flow app offer you?

Theft protection

The eBike Flow app is your gateway to Bosch’s digital theft protection: you can lock the motor support function, making your eBike less attractive to thieves. If your eBike is stolen, you can mark it as stolen in the app. Flow+ adds GPS location tracking and an alarm to your eBike.²

Navigation and ride data

Before setting off, you plan your route and, while you are on the road, the navigation guides you to your destination. You can then analyse your ride data, including distance, power and cadence in the statistics and share it.

Simply update

You can download updates directly to your eBike via the eBike Flow app using the smart system. This ensures that it keeps up to date – without needing to use any cables and needing to book an extra workshop appointment.

Let's get personal

You can customise your eBike’s riding modes in the eBike Flow app to suit your ride – for example, to provide a more powerful start or more efficient battery use.

Plan your range

You can see in the eBike Flow app how much battery charge is likely to be left when you arrive at your destination. You also set the battery level you want to have when you reach your destination.³

Lock motor support

If your eBike is locked, motor support remains disabled. This makes your eBike less attractive for thieves to steal it. To unlock it, use your smartphone as a digital key.

Mark your eBike as stolen

If your eBike is stolen, you can digitally mark it in the eBike Flow app. This will increase the chance of getting it back. This also applies to a stolen eBike battery.

Configure your screen layout

You can choose in the eBike Flow app which information you want to appear on your display. This means that you can keep an eye on exactly what’s important to you during your ride.

Manage multiple eBikes

You can add up to six eBikes to your account in the eBike Flow app, give them individual names and easily switch between them.

The eBike Flow app is available for numerous smartphones running iOS or Android. You can find out which operating system and Bluetooth version your smartphone requires in the Help Center.

Yes. You can download and use the eBike Flow app for free. Flow+ adds optional paid premium services to the app.

The eBike Flow app provides your eBike with additional digital protection against theft, plans routes for you and navigates to your destination, analyses ride data and downloads updates to your eBike. You can also configure your display and specify what information you want to see on it. You can also customise the riding modes to your requirements.

Download the eBike Flow app, open it and create an account. Next, switch on your eBike, activate the Bluetooth app on your smartphone and follow the steps in the app.

The smartphone and eBike are connected via Bluetooth. You can therefore use some of the eBike Flow app’s features even without an internet connection – for example, locking and unlocking motor support. You need an internet connection for certain settings, as well as for calculating or recalculating routes. Your ride data will be temporarily stored and synchronised later. You can find further information in the Help Center.

No. You can also use the eBike Flow app without a ConnectModule. You only need a ConnectModule for certain Flow+ premium services – for example, to use the alarm on your eBike, track your location via GPS or check the current battery level remotely.

The eBike Flow app is designed for eBikes fitted with the Bosch smart system. The eBike Connect app is designed for eBikes fitted with the Bosch eBike System 2.
